This isn't a review of an angry person because someone was mean to me. This is a review of a angry person (rightfully so) who bought a truck from this dealership on February 17th of this year (2026) and its almost June of 2026 and I STILL don't have the truck, nor is the truck fixed, nor can I hardly get responses or updates from the people who run this business. I get the occasional response after basically fighting for it (texting and emailing trying to get updates). The included photos should explain the situation I have found myself in and am still currently in. Here is my ongoing requests since the truck was delivered with issues: 1. Fix my truck (properly). 2. Provide proof of all work done (labor, materials, troubleshooting findings, etc). 3. Deliver it to where you are supposed to (on a trailer). 4. With a warranty. This is sad to feel like i have to add this part but to the Franchise, CEO, GM and/or owner(s) of this dealership (or whoever responds to these on your behalf) .. instead of wasting your time trying to do damage control on this review … please don't waste your time. If you try to contact google to have my review removed that would just show the character of this dealership that much more. From the start of this issue, I have requested one thing -- to do the right thing. Argue all you want by saying you are trying to fix it but ** it doesn't take months to fix or replace a transmission and detail a truck **. Plus, there has been zero proof shown to me about what you're claiming. So, no, you're not. I am not sure what you are trying to do behind closed doors but unfortunately I am only left to assume you are trying to quietly screw me or hope I give in and request my money back like you mentioned on the phone so you don't "lose money on this deal". That's the cost of doing business sometimes. You win some you lose some. How about just doing the right thing? Is that a forgotten term? Sometimes that's worth more than losing some coin. I did say from the start that I would pursue routes like this if I had to but hoped I wouldn't have to. Well, here we are. Months later. Paying interest + principal on a loan for a truck i have never even driven before, fighting every day for updates, having to waste my time doing this. Todays date: May 23, 2026. I inquired about a vehicle at Tutton via phone because I live four hours away. My experience began with a classic high-pressure sales tactic: Josiah told me someone was currently looking at the truck I was calling about at that very moment. When I told him I wasn’t interested in playing games or competing for a vehicle while on the phone, he immediately recanted, stating, “Actually, that truck isn’t being looked at, so we can talk about it now.” While I didn’t appreciate the manufactured urgency, I decided to proceed. I was explicit from the start that I would not be financing through the dealership. I had a “do not exceed” approved loan check from my bank and asked Josiah to confirm that Tutton accepted this check type. He assured me it was no problem and agreed to work on an “out the door” (OTD) price for when I arrived the next day. After making the four-hour drive, I met Josiah, who was initially polite and accommodating. I took the truck to lunch and, realizing Josiah was working through his own lunch break to help me, I actually purchased and brought a meal back for him to show our appreciation. Unfortunately, that was the last positive part of the experience. Upon completing the test drive, I identified several concerns. Small issues included PCM alert codes, dash warnings for malfunctioning features, missing parts, and a stuck front air dam. Larger concerns were much more serious: the starter was noticeably struggling when the motor was hot, and the transmission (which had been replaced five months prior) was shifting erratically. Josiah agreed to account for these mechanical risks in the OTD price, but when he brought the paperwork, the vehicle was still listed at the full advertised price. The paperwork also revealed a staggering $1,000 documentation fee—nearly triple the $300–$500 average I found at nine other dealerships. But the real "shell game" started when I presented my bank check. Josiah then claimed he “didn’t get a chance” to tell me that if I didn't finance with Tutton, they added another $1,000 fee for using an outside bank. After I voiced my displeasure at this "forgotten" disclosure, he "talked to his manager" and dropped the fee to $500. However, when the new OTD sheet arrived, the tag fees, taxes, and a brand-new “ETR fee” all miraculously increased to almost perfectly offset the discount. After I voiced my displeasure about the offset, it happened again when they "removed" the fee entirely; they simply padded the tags, taxes, and added a higher fee until the final price was almost identical to the original. It was a coordinated effort to swindle me by moving numbers between line items. When I finally spoke to the manager, Brian, the tone turned to intimidation. He spoke over me, interrupted, and eventually said, “You already drove four hours to get the truck, I know you are going to get the truck; it is already aggressively priced and I can sell it to someone else.” He refused to budge even $400 to offset the imminent starter failure. Reluctantly, I still decided to purchase the vehicle even though it was clear they could care less if it sold to me at that moment or not. Predictably, two days after getting the truck home, the starter died while in town, and I had to pay for a tow. I ended up replacing the part myself for $329 after being quoted $840 by a shop. Both the salesman and manager lacked transparency and basic integrity. They relied on the fact that I had "sunk time" into the drive to force a deal filled with hidden fees. I’ve seen other reviews where the owner doesn't respond, so I don't expect a resolution here—I just want to warn others about this "shell game" style of business.

Took my jeep to them on June 5 for repairs they called and said I needed a new fuse box and batteries I supplied the batteries for the jeep they charged me $1400 for a new fuse box and it was never replaced it still had dirt on itI took it back the next day after I picked it up wanting to know why it wasn’t replaced and was lied to by Ned the service manager and told it was reman part then the jeep quit a few days later and took it back for them to fix Ned lied again and said it was reman part they they took the guts out of mine and put in another they said it was fixed but when I left the jeep didn’t even make it home and had to take back the next day they had it for over two weeks and said that they couldn’t find anything wrong and to come get it it quit again September 7 and took it back up their for them to lie to me saying it was being worked on for almost a month when it hadn’t been touched I left a bad review and was called by the service manager Ned to come up their and discuss my jeep when all he wanted was to ask me to take the bad review down and then I was lied to and told I needed a new valve body and was told by Justin that they guarantee me that this is it that if I agreed to pay for it it would fix my jeep then to get told we couldn’t read the valve body so it needed replaced and then they couldn’t read the new one it had a problem with the wiring they lied and said the transmission was full of water then it went from a computer to a transmission control module to a canbus connector then when I called wanting an update on my jeep I was told the technician said he wanted space and never getting a call back and not hearing nothing for a month and when I finally did get in touch with them I was told I needed almost $9000 worth of wiring harness that might fix my jeep i told them no and that I wanted my jeep put back together that I was coming to pick it up and was lied to again by the service manager and told that it was all put back together and ready to go when in fact it was not put back together it was all tore apart and the rear window wiper arm was broke In half and had black stuff all over the white paint so I tried reaching out to drew but apparently he is never their after weeks of trying to get ahold of the general manager Freddy I went by the dealership and spoke with him just to be lied to by him and he was gonna get to the bottom of it and make it right but then never returned my phone calls and when I did get lucky and called he answered just to lie and tell me him and the service manager would call me back the next morning and never did than after speaking with the service manager Ned he didn’t know nothing about it and basically told me that they got my money and wasn’t going to make it right or refund what I paid them for doing nothing to fix my jeep they are just parts changers and the price markup on the parts is ridiculous charging almost double the regular price and then the service manager telling me they the have to pay to store parts and then charge the customer for it

Had a problem with my 2025 Dodge Ram. Check engine light kept coming on 3 different times. The problem was it was not pulling a code to let service know what the issue was. The service team were polite and courteous even though we weren't at times. They fixed my problem, it was a "software glitch" The service manager went above and beyond to insure this problem got resolved. The technology on these vehicles today can be very difficult. I would recommend them if you need service.

O I bought a 2020 1500 Ram from VoylesCDJR 1313 Grants Mill Way , Birmingham Al 35210 when I went to get my tag they charged me $577 more than what the tag should’ve been because they said the truck hasn’t had a tag on it for two years and they would not do nothing about it. called them and tried to talk to them and they ghosted me and would not return My calls, will not talk to me, so I am carrying them to small claims court ! !!!! buyers beware !!!!

Received a offer from them on a car I was selling, made a appt to bring the vehicle in for the sale, when I got there, they checked over the car, everything was good, car only had 25000 miles on it. Then.....they offered me about $3000 less than told me originally. Wasted 3 hours of my Saturday to drive out there and they wouldn't honor their quote. AVOID this place.

Be mindful of their Service department. Very nice people but I asked for an oil change and tire rotation. They tried to sell me the world. But as I arrived home I had noticed my tires had not been rotated. And how I know is I marked them and took a picture of my tire pressures. So my big concern now is did actually change my oil ?? Worried !!

If I could leave a 0 star review for their service department I would. I had my 2021 Wrangler 392 taken to this dealer for an issue where it wouldn’t start. They charged me +$150 “diagnostic fee” then called and said that because of the Warn winch & Rockslide power steps they couldn’t diagnose the problem and that they “don’t work on modified vehicles” (check out how many modified Jeep’s they have on the lot) They recommend it be taken to Jeep Hut in town since it was modified. I paid the tow company another fee to have it picked up from Tutton and moved to Jeep Hut. Jeep Hut confirmed that neither the winch nor steps had any effect on the starting issue as they were only wired to the battery, but that Tutton had managed to completely kill a brand new battery that was just installed 3 months prior. Jeep Hut went through the wiring harness and confirmed there were no issues and that it needed a dealer specific computer in order to diagnose. Thankfully Jeep Hut has connections with many dealers and got it taken to a different dealer with better customer service. If you need anything for a Jeep in Jasper, skip this dealer and either go directly to Jeep Hut or if it’s a warranty issue take it south to a different dealer.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! This dealership has had a 2024 ram 1500 listed for sale and available for over 115 days. In the last 3 days of me nearly constantly initiating contact and unreturned calls when promised, they have: 1) tried to upsell me on a vehicle costing almost $20k more than the original vehicle I was interested in; 2) told me several different stories regarding an open recall on the initial vehicle ranging from the "part to fix the recall is not in stock", or "they've been waiting 7 months for the part to arrive and it's still not here", then after doing my own VIN research on the open recall and realizing this is a software update need now "the download was done on the ESC system to fix the recall and during the download the ABS module was shorted, then the update damaged the E-torque system of the truck". What it comes down to is classic bait and switch tactics. A vehicle is being advertised online with a great price with great features only to find out that the vehicle supposedly is not available for the customer to take delivery, but here we can definitely sell you this higher premium one right now. Guaranteed this will be reported Georgia Consumer Protection Division, because how is it a vehicle is being offered for sale that in reality is not available for me to drive off the lot!

There were communications issues about the status of our Jeep. We were promised a phone in three separate occasions and received none. After speaking with John, the Service Manager, he committed to put corrective measures into place and did what was needed to achieve customer satisfaction. Oil change and tire rotation. Work was fine but mechanic did not use seat cover on light cream leather seats. When I got home in the sunlight there was oil on seat in several places. We only have a little over 9,000 miles on car and take care of it. We returned to service to, Have display cleared and told service department about oil on seats. Other than that the service was fine.

Your maintenance department kept me informed on a key recall item. They called me the instant that the replacement high pressure fuel pump was available and gave me the first available service appointment. When I arrived Chad verified the appointment and took charge to get my vehicle into the service bay. They were able to replace the high pressure fuel pump in about one hour! I was on my way home almost before I could finish a cup of coffee. Well Done! Wayne
